Mission Statement- this site was created to become a complete source and communication tool for all things dealing with the DIY hardcore punk scene in Iowa. This page contains information contributed by people all over Iowa and requires any contributions you think are relevent to this site.

These are just some random thoughts and opinions I have regarding this page and how I opperate it. These are ramblings, not really concrete, just trying to give you and idea of what I'm doing with this page

Webpage costs/advertising
After years of paying for this I am now hooked up with free hosting... so other than the cost of registering the domain ($60/2years) this is free. If you are interested in advertising with a banner ad, get in touch.

Band Inclusion
This is a hardcore punk website for bands in the hardcore punk scene. "Groove metal", "rap metal", "nu metal" are not a part of this. If your band is not part of the hardcore punk scene you will be denied a listing. This site is secular as is hardcore punk however 'christian' and other religion-inspired bands will not be excluded.

Inclusion on the Activism page
Left liberal, radical, grass roots community, etc... Pro Choice, Anti-Racist, Anti-Sexist, Anti-Homophobic, Pro-Immigrant, Pro Animal Rights, Enviromentalist, most groups that emphasize compassion, etc... it's pretty arbitrary.. it's up to me. I won't support: Pro Life, any group that is anti-gay, republican or democratic party groups, ...
